My first ever blog post!

Sitting here getting my hair done and I have an idea for a blog. Most of us are busy, we have kids. and a million other things to do. what if there was a site that you could go to for ideas for anything from what to eat for dinner to what gift to get my future mother in law to what theme to do for my sons third birthday. The purpose of my blog is to help busy mothers by providing ideas and helpful advice. I will pick a different theme every day to blog about. If there is a theme or idea you want me to talk about post it. I will try to have an idea up for you within 24 hours. My first topic will be date night ideas.

Date Idea 1

This is for those of you that are either going on a first date or newly dating. On a first date you want to be able to go somewhere that one you will be able to talk and two do something in case there are those uncomfortable silences. For dinner try going to a restaurant that you are involved with the food preparation. This gives you not only the option to find out things about the other person like foods they like and dislike it also provides filler conversation. Some great restaurant to go to would be flat top grill. These restaurants are great because you get to build your own dish.

Date Idea 2

Another great date idea is to go do something active. This doesn’t have to be running a marathon but something that gets you moving. Not only does this provide a health benefit it also creates that sense of competition or team work depending on the activity. A walk is something that is very simple but yet it can be very romantic and intimate. Another option is to play miniature golf or bowling. My personal favorite is miniature golf. I am not a great golfer but I am very good at miniature golf. I went to a glow in the dark miniature golf place and had a blast with my fiancĂ©e. There was music playing and we had a chance to goof around. It was so much fun.

Date Idea 3

Pick a local restaurant that neither of you have been to. This is a great way to see how the other person deals with new places and foods. It’s also a way to spice up a stagnant relationship. You get to experience something new together. And maybe it might even spice something’s up for you.
